First of all, to make a yogaterapia session, the person should be examined physically. Besides presenting as in all cases a certificate of medical fitness must complete a supplementary form of health to find out more about their problems. Based on that, it develops a specific program under the posibilities of each person. The idea is to be in contact with the health professional serving the individual, helping everyone in the development of a specific program to meet the needs of the individual.

Individual sessions are usually at home or in care settings. Techniques are also used in water yogaterapia.

What is Yogaterapia?

It is the treatment and prevention of specific diseases that affect an individual’s health. We can cite some of them: arthritis, osteoarthritis, asthma, cancer, diabetes, depression, high blood pressure, low blood pressure, HIV and AIDS, back pain, etc, etc, mental illness, etc, etc, injuries sports and general health problems for both men and women. It’s also great for pregnancy, childbirth and babies and their mothers, but as we have said, each case is evaluated by a health professional.

You can begin to practice yoga and benefit right away, even if you never did before. It works with simple stretching exercises, stretching, alternating with pranayamas (breathing techniques) and finally with relaxation where meditation can be part of this process. Yogaterapia are preserved in the ancient principles of yoga, working holistically at all levels of the mind and body. All this applies in the water in what is called Yoga Aquatic.
