Garlic soup

The garlic soup is a very nutritious food. With this dish the whole life fighting anemia.

Ingredients
(Serves 4)
Bread (2 slices per person if not smaller, 1 if large)
6 cloves garlic
½ cup oil
½ teaspoon paprika
2 liters of water
Oil
Salt

Preparation
Mash a little garlic and fry in oil. When you have a little golden bread is added and finally, paprika (Some people also puts cumin), either the fire to prevent burning. Then you add water and boil for half an hour over low heat.

Use
Traditionally eaten for dinner, but any time is good. (more…)

Food sources of fiber

Groups of foods rich in fiber are (in descending order):

- Grain wheat bran and oat;
- Dried fruits (prunes, almonds, dried apricots, dried figs, raisins, dates …);
- Whole grain foods (pasta, rice, wheat, spelled, millet, quinoa, bulgur …);
- Legumes (beans and red kidney beans, lentils, split peas, bean sprouts, chick peas …);
- Vegetables (peppers, mushrooms, peas, parsley, spinach, sorrel, fennel, green beans, cabbage …);
- Fruits (raspberries, blueberries, chestnuts, cherries, bananas, oranges …).

It is recommended:

- To vary the sources of fiber by eating fruits, vegetables, legumes and involving them in grain products;
- To prefer fresh fruit juices. (more…)
