What fast food can feed a person with diabetes?, If before I was diagnosed with the disease were a fan of fast food, you probably have a hard time shelving. know and radical change in your life after diagnosis of diabetes and fundamental change is in power.

You’ll be seeing on your plate as many vegetables, fiber, more fruits, more protein and low in fat are totally aware that you should eat a healthy diet, so you can keep the blood glucose (blood sugar), within the range established, thus avoiding complications, having diabetes does not mean you should stop using what used to be like you so much. While fast food is not good for anyone, there are times when it can not safar, either because there are more options at hand, or simply because you have a craving for a burger against which you can not fight.

Recommendations for diabetes is not entirely incompatible with fast food (occasionally)

When you’re in front of the menu look for these words, grilled, boiled, baked,  included in your vocabulary.

Do not neglect fruits and vegetables, ask for a salad or a vegetable sandwich or vegetable pizza, the beverage should be water or natural juice.

If you eat breakfast at a fast food place, choose the menu of cereal, fruit breads and low fat or fat free.

Diabetes does not have to mean the end of things that you like, you can enjoy up fast food, provided it is in moderation.

Food sources of fiber

Groups of foods rich in fiber are (in descending order):

- Grain wheat bran and oat;
- Dried fruits (prunes, almonds, dried apricots, dried figs, raisins, dates …);
- Whole grain foods (pasta, rice, wheat, spelled, millet, quinoa, bulgur …);
- Legumes (beans and red kidney beans, lentils, split peas, bean sprouts, chick peas …);
- Vegetables (peppers, mushrooms, peas, parsley, spinach, sorrel, fennel, green beans, cabbage …);
- Fruits (raspberries, blueberries, chestnuts, cherries, bananas, oranges …).

It is recommended:

- To vary the sources of fiber by eating fruits, vegetables, legumes and involving them in grain products;
