Treatment of influenza with long pepper

The use of long pepper was one of the most effective solution for the treatment of influenza. Half a teaspoon of powdered long pepper, mixed with two tablespoons of honey and half teaspoon of ginger juice should be consumed three times a day. This would be very helpful if taken in the early stages of disease. This is especially useful to avoid complications that followed the onset of the disease, namely the involvement of the larynx and bronchial tubes.


Influenza treatment using Garlic

Garlic is a very good drug for influenza. This is useful as a general antiseptic and the patient should drink as much as possible.
Influenza treatment using Turmeric

Turmeric is valuable in curing influenza. A teaspoon of turmeric powder should be mixed with a glass of warm milk and taken three times a day. This will prevent complications arising from influenza and also activate the liver which becomes dull during the attack.
Influenza treatment using Onion

Garlic is also an effective medicine for influenza. The same amount of onion juice and honey should be mixed, and three or four teaspoons of this mixture should be swallowed in the treatment of this disease.
Influenza treatment using Ginger

Ginger is a very good drug for influenza. Teaspoon fresh ginger juice, mixed with a cup of fenugreek herb and honey to taste, is a diaphoretic mixture which is very good that increases sweating and reduces fever in this disease. The mixture of fenugreek can be prepared by boiling one tablespoon of fenugreek seeds in half a liter of water until reduced by one third.
Treatment of influenza with Pomelo

Orange juice has proved beneficial in this disease because the body and tone the digestive tract.
Treatment of influenza with basil leaves

Another effective for this disease is green basil leaves. Approximately one gram of these leaves should be boiled along with some ginger in a pint of water until half the water lost. This herb should be taken as a tea. It provides direct aid.
Influenza Treatment using Finger Millet

Fumigation burning finger millet flour is useful in influenza. Should breathe gently in the treatment of this disease. Improve blood circulation in the nasal mucosa, reducing local congestion and the opening of the nose with snot.

Fruit juice during the acute phase

In the acute stage of influenza, the patient must abstain from all solid foods and only drink fruit and vegetable juices diluted with water in a ratio of 50:50 for the first three to five days, depending on the severity of the condition.
All-fruit diet

After the fever subsided, the patient may adopt all fruit diet for two or three days. This may be followed by fruit and milk diet for two or three days.
Balanced diet with fruits and vegetables

Then, the patient may adopt a balanced diet of natural foods, with an emphasis on fresh fruits and raw vegetables.
Avoid spices, condiments, alcohol, etc..

You should avoid spices and herbs, alcohol, tobacco, tea and strong coffee, spicy meat, milk over boiled vegetables, potatoes, rice, cheese, and include food, processed, stale and cans.
